American Humane and Zoetis Petcare Attend the Wag Convention

Last weekend, American Humane proudly joined forces with Zoetis Petcare in San Diego at the Wag Convention, part of Vet+Pet West, a new, ground-breaking event that provides cutting-edge education for veterinarians and pet parents. Our West Coast 50-foot mobile American Humane Rescue truck, which was recently used to assist animals impacted by the deadly Camp Fire in California, was on site, offering visitors a peek at the equipment inside.

The Los Angeles-based vehicle—one of five stationed in various cities across the country—allows American Humane to bolster its response to disasters and animal crises by having lifesaving equipment and supplies at the ready. Support for this vehicle comes from philanthropist Lois Pope and the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Banfield Foundation, and Zoetis Petcare, which generously donates critical medicines and veterinary supplies.
